Dear Ellison-Jones Family,

It is with tremendous joy and anticipation that I welcome you to the Ellison-Jones Convocation!

This gathering is more than an annual event. It is a sacred intersection of faith, scholarship, leadership, and prophetic witness. We come together not simply to celebrate our rich theological heritage, but to engage the pressing questions of our time and prepare ourselves to lead with courage, conviction, and compassion.

We are living in a world that demands more than familiar answers. Our communities are confronting new challenges, our churches are navigating unprecedented change, and the call to faithful leadership has never been more urgent. It is in moments like these that theological education, meaningful dialogue, and the power of the preached Word become essential.

The Ellison-Jones Convocation creates space for all three.

Throughout this experience, you will encounter transformative preaching, thought-provoking scholarship, courageous conversations, and opportunities for meaningful connection. Our prayer is that you will leave not only inspired by what you have heard, but challenged by what you are called to do.

Whether you are joining us in person or participating through our digital experience, you are an important part of this community. Your presence matters. Your voice matters. And the work God has entrusted to your hands matters.

As Dean, I am deeply honored to welcome you into an experience that celebrates our legacy while boldly embracing our future. May these days sharpen your thinking, strengthen your faith, expand your vision, and renew your commitment to the work of transformation.

Welcome to Ellison-Jones. Come ready to think deeply, engage courageously, and leave empowered to make a difference.

With great expectation,
